1.移动式皮带运输机运转作业前，应将行走轮用叁角木对称楔紧。固定式皮带运输机，应安装在牢固的基础上。
2.起动前，调整好办减速这松紧度，带扣应牢固，轴承、齿轮、链条等传动部件应良好，托轮和防护装置应齐全，电器接地(接零)保护良好，输送带与滚筒宽度应一致。
3.应先空载起动，待运转正常后，方可均匀装料，不得先装料后起动。
4.作业中，应随时注意机械的运转情况如发现输送带有松驰或走偏现象，应停车进行调整或修理。严禁在运转中进行修理和调整。
5.作业时，严禁任何人员从皮带运输机下面穿过或跨越输送带。输送带打滑时，不得用手抖动拉动。

7.运转中需要停机时，应先停止装料，待输送带上料卸尽后，方可停机。
8.遇电源突然中断或其它原因突然停车，应立即切断电源，然后将皮带上的物料清除掉，等来电或排除故障后，再接通电源启动运转。
9.停车前必须先与有关方面联系，待输送带上的物料完全卸掉后，方可停机。
10.停机后应切断电源，锁好电源开关箱，对机械各部进行保养。用防雨护罩将电动机盖好。
